2. Service Description

How To Abroad provides:

  • AI-powered resume and cover letter generation
  • Job application tracking services
  • University course search and application assistance
  • Career guidance and related services
3. User Obligations

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials
  • Use the services in compliance with applicable laws
  • Not misuse or attempt to manipulate our services
4. Intellectual Property

All content and materials available on How To Abroad are protected by intellectual property rights. Users may not:

  • Copy or redistribute the platform's content without permission
  • Modify or create derivative works
  • Use our trademarks without written consent
5. Privacy Policy

Our privacy practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.

All user data is securely stored in Azure servers with enterprise-grade security measures. Your personal information and data:

  • Personal data will not be shared with unaffiliated third parties except (a) with your consent, (b) to service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, payment processors), or (c) as required to comply with legal obligations.
  • If you provide API keys or other credentials for third-party services, we will handle those credentials in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, and do not retain plaintext copies of such credentials accessible to our staff. Credentials are stored only as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring any credentials you provide are valid and that you are authorized to provide them.
  • We will use personal data to provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including personalized recommendations) and for other purposes disclosed in our Privacy Policy. Such uses are limited to internal purposes necessary to operate and improve the Service and will be subject to the sharing and processing rules described in the Privacy Policy.
  • We process and store personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR where it applies.
6. Payments & Cancellation

Payments are processed by Razorpay Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Razorpay"), a third-party payment processor. All payment transactions are processed directly by Razorpay and are subject to Razorpay's terms of service and privacy policy. How To Abroad does not collect or store full payment card numbers, UPI credentials, or bank account numbers on its servers. Our Cancellation Policy governs subscription billing, cancellations, and refunds. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to the terms set forth in the Cancellation Policy. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the applicable billing period; refunds for a billing period are available only as described in the Cancellation Policy and in accordance with applicable law. Any refunds that are issued are subject to Razorpay's processing timelines and potential fees.

7. AI Services and Limitations

Certain features of the Service rely on automated decision-making and/or AI-generated content ("AI Content"), including but not limited to resumes, cover letters, job-tracking suggestions, and university recommendations. AI Content is provided for convenience and informational purposes only and is provided "as is".

HOW TO ABROAD MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR RELIABILITY OF AI CONTENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOW TO ABROAD DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF AI CONTENT. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before relying upon it, and you should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability

How To Abroad provides services "as is" and makes no warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.
